Test Prep Steps to Succes
Free SAT/ACT Diagnostic Exam and Consultation
At Spot On Scholars, every student receives a complimentary SAT and ACT exam that serves as a diagnostic test. Upon completion, we generate a comprehensive analysis of the student's performance, highlighting missed questions, strengths, weaknesses, and a tailored tutoring/study plan. We then pair the student with a suitable tutor and initiate the scheduling procedure.
Progress Check Practice Exams
On a monthly basis, every student will take a full-length, follow-up, SAT or ACT practice exam to evaluate their growth and progress. Based on the results, the student's personalized tutoring plan will be adjusted to cater to their specific achievement level.
Review Session and Test Day Success
Before each scheduled SAT and ACT exam, we will furnish each student with a concise study guide to reinforce their understanding of any uncertain topics. Furthermore, as an added benefit, every student will have access to a complimentary, 30-minute group review session conducted before their exam date.
Weekly Tutoring Sessions
Students can schedule flexible weekly tutoring sessions lasting 1 to 4 hours. Tutors provide personalized 1-on-1 guidance on content, practice problems, timed exercises, and strategies. Homework assignments are given and reviewed in subsequent meetings. Tutors monitor progress and maintain open communication with parents/guardians, providing updates on achievements.
